Department of Nursing

The Department of Nursing at Northwest Nazarene University provides undergraduate, graduate, and degree completion programs related to the professional field of nursing.  We have three nationally accredited and specialized programs that can meet the needs of students in a wide variety of settings.

  • Traditional Undergraduate Baccalaureate Degree
  • RN-BS, Nursing Degree
  • Masters of Science in Nursing Leadership and Education Degree
The traditional undergraduate program is designed to lead to a career in the provision of direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings.

The RN-BS nursing degree is a fully online degree completion program designed to provide current registered nurses with the academic and clinical content to earn a Bachelor's degree in nursing.

The Masters of Science in Nursing degree is fully online and enables baccalaureate prepared nurses to move into leadership and education roles.  Currently, NNU is the only university in the state that offers an MSN in Leadership and Education. Another option for nurses with an associate degree is the RN-MSN track.  Successful completion of the preparatory courses will prepare the student for the rigors of the masters program.

Take a minute and look at the programs offered at NNU.  We would love to help you achieve your academic goals.
